Real Snow 2012

CAPiTA and Union riders, Dan Brisse and Scott Stevens are in the running for this years X Games Real Snow competition. You may remember, last year Dan walked away from the event a mellow 50K and a gold metal for his efforts. This year our boi Scotty Stevens joins him in the competition. I love days like this , Especially when you get pretty much the entire CAPiTA team streaming through a mellow little park like the one up at Stevens Pass in Washington .

Set ups

Dan Brisse – Fresh back off his knee injury from when he was filming for his x games gold medal in the real snow event , dan was riding the Capita Black snowboard of Death , and Union Force Mc .. a very impressive set up !

Cale Zima was chimpin around on a CAPiTA Ultrafear and riding the New Union Team binding

Scotty Stevens was also out n the new CAPiTA Ultrafear and Team Binding

Mr Phil Jacques was … shit on the same deck , That Ultrafear is a fun board to roll through the park on , but he had the Union Contact Pro bindings and was wearing some fancy new Bond outerwear .. Kid looked GOOD !

My self .. I was on the New Green Machine , still in my old faithful union ultrafear contact bindings , deeluxe rough diamond boots , Bond outerwear , My drop mitten and goggle , with a fancy old Coal hat

X-Games Real Snow Vote Brisse

Dan is a part of The Snowboard Realms Family , he is also one of 8 riders that was chosen to take part in the new “Real Snow” event for this years Winter X-Games..

The concept is to give riders 10 shots and a minute and a half to impress you .

I was lucky enough to tag along with Dan Brisse and Film a few days for the new Absinthe Movie .

Its pretty rad how minds combine to find new things ,

we first showed up at this spot and Dan had and entirely different idea ..

A few hours of work and we bagged a few shots ,

late nights and a lot of money worth of gear .. it’s crazy what goes into being a pro these days ,

no longer is it enough to have a truck and a sled , now you need a generator , lights , rope , shovels , filmers , tripods , camera men ,

coffee, drivers , plus a million other things … and then on top of that you need to get by on little amounts of sleep ,

when its go time its full go ..
